Brocade Rises Seven Spots from Previous Year
SAN JOSE, Calif., May 06, 2009 - Brocade® (Nasdaq:BRCD) has been honored by the San Francisco Business Times as a “Best Place to Work” in the San Francisco Bay Area for 2009. Brocade ranked number two in the large-size company category, which includes companies with 1501 or more employees. Brocade was chosen to appear on the list based on an overwhelming response to an anonymous survey completed by Bay Area region employees who gave the company high marks in a number of areas, including corporate climate and culture, management policies, and benefits offerings. “We are honored to be recognized again this year as a ‘Best Place to Work’ in the Bay Area, and we’re especially thrilled to be included as one of the top two best large-sized workplaces,” said Mike Klayko, Brocade Chief Executive Officer. “Our focus has always been on creating and maintaining a unique work environment. We work hard to develop programs and benefits that encourage and motivate our employees, and we believe that in doing so we are driving the continued success of the company.” The entire list of the “Best Places to Work” in the Bay Area appears in a special section in the May 1 edition of the San Francisco Business Times. The section will also appear in the Silicon Valley/San Jose Business Journal.
